It was my only solace
My white tiger, embrace
My only friend and lover
It stood by me like a strong oak
You left me ablaze
Like the sinewy, dewy grass blades
Knives stabbing the delicate
Heart that throbbed for you
Based on what I felt
What I heard, what I saw unsaid
Unwanted, I pushed myself out
That day I stood still
While my white tiger watched over me
It's silent rhythm trying to comfort
As I lay my head against it's soft skin
And gushed all the pain out
It held me until it found home
Where once two souls lived
And left me tired so I'd fall asleep
In that emptiness
