My friend Kelly and I managed to sneak in a trip to the Bronx Zoo this weekend, both for fun and to test our our photography. I seriously could have obliterated ten cameras worth of batteries {okay, so I just killed mine, but still…} so we tried to find fun themes to guide our picture taking. When we arrived, it seemed like just about every animal was settling in for its naptime, so after a while, we started trying to catch every critter we could nodding off for its afternoon nap. Without further ado, I give you naptime at the zoo.
There are zillions of zoos out there, but the Bronx Zoo is seriously a photographer’s bliss. There’s classic architecture, beautiful gardens {spilling over from the botanical gardens next door}, and absolutely amazing creatures in unbelievable habitats. I could spend all day, several camera batteries, and a zillion simcards, and still not have enough. I just wanted to share a taste of my experience with you here.
