There is one thing that I am not nervous about at all. I have no nerves, regrets, or 2nd guesses about the charity that I chose. Why? Because I visited Breaking Chains last weekend and saw the operation for myself. It was clean and organized. I loved that the room where the clothing and accessories are held is set up to look like a store. Put yourself in the shoes of one of the women on the receiving end. If you needed 2nd hand clothing to prepare for an interview, wouldn't you want to feel as though you were shopping? Wouldn't you want to be able to pick an outfit you'd feel good and confident as opposed to having to settle for whatever is there? Wouldn't you want to feel in control over what your wardrobe looked life as you started out into this next phase of your life? That what we are giving when we give our clothing, shoes and accessories to Breaking Chains.
But enough of me telling you, I'll show you. This is what I saw when I visited the charity last weekend.
Breaking Chains Charity is located in the basement of Beloved Baptist Church.
There was a nice selection of shoes. But definitely room to add your donations to the shelves.
The remainder of the clothing after some of the women had their pick.
The Scarfs and Handbags looked a little sparse.
Good thing we'll be donating some.
This is the Empty Accessories Case just waiting for our donations.
Here is a glimpse of the sewing room where the ladies can master the skill.
Now that you have seen where your donations will be going I hope you feel as good as I do about supporting this Charity. Who will be joining me at BellaNor Boutique on Saturday? Click here to Register.
