We try to stay on top of our latest pop culture news here at 2WC, but there’s some stuff we don’t touch. It gets enough attention, it doesn’t need our help.
Unfortunately, my hand has been forced. I didn’t want to have to do this, but you’ve pushed me. So I’m only going to say this once: You need to all stop obsessing over the trials and tribulations of Justin Bieber.
More importantly you need to stop bothering President Obama with your obsessive behavior. What’s most disturbing is that it’s not even the Beliebers this time. No, this time the Non-Beliebers are taking the issue of the Biebs to the President of the United States.
A petition on We the People, asking that Justin Bieber be deported back to his homeland of Canada, surpassed 100,000 signatures yesterday. That means the White House has to issue an official response. Because they have nothing better to do, clearly.
Did we all watch the same State of the Union Address on Tuesday night? This is not the time for frivolous petitions asking for things that will never happen. Not to mention that the request seems grossly unfair to Canada. What did they ever do to us, beyond sending us Bieber in the first place…
Finally, I think you all have vastly underestimated just how much worse the fallout from Beliebers will be if your petition succeeds. You’ll be wishing you’d be sent to Canada.
