I have not posted about the election on my Facebook page. I would rather post funny photos, quotes, or things about voting for Odin. Yes, I know who I am going to vote for…I’ve known all along. Don’t get me wrong, I have a few friends who can actually post things and sound intelligent; however, there are far more “friends” posting insulting comments and if you think it’s going to end tonight, you are wrong. I hope you voted so at least you can say it was or wasn’t your fault. If you didn’t, please don’t open your mouth.
In my “No” column for November, I am putting talking about politics on Facebook. I have a friend who is really informed, and he is the only exception I will make to this rule. Other than that, I see people posting things they have heard, or making horribly biased comments that make me click the “hide” button. So glad that was invented. Sigh.
No matter what I say, tomorrow is a new day. I voted, and hope for the best. If the result is not what I expected, I am going to do what I always do. Move forward. I hope you do too.
“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.” ~John Quincy Adams
