Getting back to “normal” after the Oscars is never an easy task, but this year “normal” seems to be a relative term and the struggle is real.
So, today, I thought in order to move forward it might be worth taking a moment to look back, specifically at all of the national holidays missed during the countdown to the Oscars.
Because every holiday means something to someone. Call them random, but I’d say we’re pretty lucky to live in a world where National Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day is a thing…
Not to mention World Sword Swallowers Day (because no one nation should claim ownership of this hallowed day)…
And a world without Tell A Fairy Tale Day is not one I would care to know…
I think No Brainer Day and Public Sleeping Day pretty much speak for themselves…
And while I would hope that World Compliment Day would be every day, we can all use a reminder from time to time…
Because it never hurts to share your appreciation, but it’s especially nice on Employee Appreciation Day…
But I think we can all agree that absolutely every day should literally be Grammar Day (because it DOES MATTER)…
So, while I know there’s a lot of mind-blowingly stupid things happening in the world right now, always remember and never forget that today is National Frozen Food Day, which sounds like a great excuse to have ice cream to me…
…bi-daily smile…
