It’s true, I've never cussed beforeI won’t lie; I've always thought the curses, Roared them in my head,But what calm mask of unspoken rageCould last forever, unscathed?
Show me such a mask, and then perhapsI will admit I am wrong.
But, no,
Now, I am a rebel.
I couldn't care less what anyone else wants of me,As long as I’m not stepping on your feet,Would you kindly, pleaseKeep yours off of mine.
See, even in my rebellion, I can still command you politely.

Who appointed you judge and jury?The reason I never said anything all these yearsWas that I was too busy struggling with my own glitchesTrying to stitch up all the holes created In the imperfect material I’m holdingAnd do you have any ideaHowLongIt TakesToKNIT?
No, well, maybe that’s because you haven’t tried itWhy? Too busy criticizing everyone else’s choicesThe sound of your voice has become the most Irritating thing I've ever heardIrksome enough to stir a rebellion Work something up inside the quietestUnobtrusive living beings
