One Month Down

Posted on the 01 November 2012 by Ladymoxie @ladymoxie2012

How time flies! I can’t believe it’s already been a month since I gave birth to Yna Marie. At this rate, before I know it, I’d have to report back to work, entrusting my tiny one to her nanny. Breaks my heart already!

I believe this is a dilemma shared by many working mothers. We want to be with our children 24/7, watch them grow up, record every milestone of their growth. But the sad reality is, we have mouths to feed and bills to pay. So whether we like it or not, we need to get out there and earn some bucks.

Not that I’d ever be able to stay at home and do anything. I am not the domesticated type, so I’m sure if I stay home I would only end up playing with the kids and not finish any of the house works. I very much admire stay-at-home and work-at-home moms because they get to spend most of the day with their kid(s) while staying on top of all the chores. That’s no easy task, yo! But I’m not cut out of that kind of heroism. *sigh*

So now I’ll savor every minute that I have with the new baby. That way I would have accumulated enough memories with her to take with me at work.
