I had been looking forward to that final bow after my first performance as Aurora and it didn't disappoint. A mixture of relief, pride, satisfaction, bliss, and a glowing review created the perfect recipe for the end of a show. Family, friends, and a few of my students came to celebrate with me. I just can't wait to get back out there.
Sometimes I'm afraid that those fleeting moments of complete escape as you become someone (or something) other than yourself, set a tone for the rest of life that will never quite be recreated. Can it ever be as good?
