PAINT - Keep Calm and Quilt On

My sister turned 60 on July 10th.  Wow, where does the time go?  I used to think 60 was OLD, but now that I'm almost there, I don't think it's old at all.  Hard to believe this is the face of a 60 year old grandmother of 8!

For Diane's 60th, I had to make something special...hmmm, she does love quilting but I can't sew worth a darn, but I can draw a little! 
I created this digital painting on my iPad using the InkPad app of Diane holding her granny squares quilt.  I went to Costco again to have this printed on canvas (14" x 14") and framed in black. 

I presented it to her tonight at her birthday party and she loved it!  I was so happy...you just  never know when you make something how it will be received.
