Peace, Love, and Community

Posted on the 31 August 2013 by Rarasaur @rarasaur

Unintentionally, over the last year, I’ve found myself on a fairly focused path of love, peace, and community.

Everywhere I look, I run into organizations focused on the same.  The people behind these organizations inspire me.  Some have hired me, some have carved a place for my efforts in their organization, and some have simply made me feel welcome– but all have shown a dedicated interest in helping people.

So right now, I wanted to spotlight three of them– just in case you don’t already know about them.

Peace In Relationships

Because if you don’t have peace at home, where will you have it?

If this puppy and bear can find peace, so can you. :)

Peace In Relationships is the brain child of our very own hugging guru here on WordPress– Kozo from EverydayGurus.   He is dedicated to the mission of bringing you peace at home and has developed a wonderful program to help.

Right now, he is even offering free 30 minute sessions.  All you have to do is stop by and ask.

I urge you to do so– in 30 minutes, you’ll probably learn something that will bring a bit of peace to your home life.  You are worth it, and so are the ones you love.

Kozo will change your life for the better, if you let him.

The Lovumentary Project

Proving true love exists, one story at a time…

I made this for the Lovumentary, you can download it on their Facebook page.

I don’t really remember how I found Nate Bagley and his Lovumentary project, but I’m so glad I did.  It’s wonderful.  Sit back with some popcorn and listen to the podcasts– you’ll smile, laugh, and learn.  The site features true love stories (along with all their ups and downs), playlists for love, and some focused thoughts on things that may be distracting us from finding love.

One thing that I think is particularly fun is his 30 Day challenge– a sort of lent for love, where you sacrifice something that may be preventing you from finding the perfect companion.  I made some iphone backgrounds for this part of the project that are pretty snazzy, if I do say so myself.  You can see them on Facebook!  Oh, and they’re free, and so is his guidance, and the support of the community he built.

Blogger Interactive

Connecting bloggers because why not, heck yeah, and yay!*

I'm from Texas, y'all.

I’m from Texas, y’all.

Come October, I’m going to be really sad that I’m not in Austin, Texas– because a group of fantastically wonderful bloggers will be partying without me in a big, warm, fluffy group.  Believe me if I had the method, I would certainly have the madness.  It was created by our very own Presser family, too– Jen from Sips of Jen & Tonic and Becca from 25 to Fly.  Not that I wouldn’t love ‘em equally if they were Blogspotters or LiveJournalists or Typepaders… but you know.  I have a partiality for my Presser tribe.

Despite the fact that Blogger Interactive will be sadly lacking my dino-presence, I have a feeling it’s going to be a phenomenally successful event– and that everyone who goes will leave with wonderful advice, life-long blogging friends, and a few ridiculous pictures.

So if you can go, please do, and represent my rawr for me, will you?  Oh, by the way– it’s free.

What other love, peace, and community organizations are out there blossoming and creating better worlds?  Are you searching for true love? Do you know someone who can benefit from a little more peace in a relationship?  Are you going to Blogger Interactive?

Have you ever found yourself on an unexpected path before– surrounded by wayfarers on similar missions– and if so, what does it mean?

These people are spreading RawrLove– and it’s awesome– so be sure to visit them and send some love right back!

Gosh, we’re a beautiful family.

*hugs*
