Pen Name

Theresa Janie
My great grandmothers on my Daddy's side. Grandmother Theresa I called Mama Tress. Grandmother Janie I called Nanie.
Mama Tress was your typical southern lady. She had a maid who was colored. What a nice lady she was and she could make some good cookies. Mama Tress wasn't too good about kids. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with the maid coloring and what not. Mama Tress' house was one of those that you couldn't really touch anything. It was very fancy. Mama Tress passed on when I was 16. I would like to have had a chance to know her now that I am an adult.
Nanie was the exact opposite. She would sit on the floor and play tea party with me. We played with real china pot and teacups with saucers. I still have the teapot and some cups and saucers. I remember sitting on her lap and her telling me stories. She was a good size woman and very cuddly. Nanie passed on when I was six. She too I would have like to have had a chance to know her now that I am an adult.
This pen name has a lot of meaning for me and I think it will be perfect. Now for naming the novel! Then of course I do have to keep on writing.
