For a nice, relaxing day out I would really recommend going punting in Cambridge. You can either do it yourself or have a ‘chauffeur’…it cost us £85 and there we’re 7 of us, so it doesn’t really work out that expensive. You get an hours tour on the river along with information on the city if you wish. We all went for my aunties 50th birthday (the last of her celebrations!) and enjoyed a little wine along the way.
