Happy April Fools Day!
Congrats to those who figured it out already, and to those who didn’t…sorry. Maybe we’ll celebrate math and poetry month next year…or possibly sneak in a mathematical limerick this year.
To ease the pain, here’s our final weigh in on March Madness. Both Crusaders reflect on our experience and lessons from this years bracket challenge. You may notice that one bracket (Zer’s) looks a lot like last weeks (Zer: not my best year).
Zer: Things learned from this year’s March Madness. Sometimes loyalty is repaid with victory and the satisfaction that you were right all along. Your team truly is the best even though others didn’t seem to agree. Other times, it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth, and a lot of scratch marks on your tournament bracket. This was one of those times. After all, isn’t it better to lose spectacularly then finish in the middle? Well, at least you’ll get your entry fee back?
Stephanie: You know, in moments of greatness it’s important to maintain a certain level of humility. Sure my bracket may have been deemed ”better” by the “winners.” But who’s really the winner in this situation? I guess that would be me. But, seriously, in these moments of undeniable victory it’s important to remember the journey and the tools that got us (me) to this moment of glory–a keen sense of logic, a whole lot of patience, and an insurmountable amount of dumb luck…and picking by team colors and mascots never hurt any body.
