Lunette retweeted and reposted and finally asked me to host a giveaway.
People have commented like crazy.
People have shared my crass reviews about periods all over social media.
Basically what I'm saying is, ladies be desperate here. Desperate for some camaraderie and information and someone to just be frank with them about their periods.
Because we all get sick of tampon commercials being all clean and pretty and energetic when every woman knows that periods are a bloody, disgusting, terrifying and sometimes foul-smelling affair. We don't want false promises of wearing filmy white dresses while running through a meadow embracing a box of tampons. We want someone to be straight and tell us how to minimize that horrible bloodbath that hits our ladyparts every month.
I know this is what we want because I've had an overwhelmingly positive response in the comments, on Twitter, and even in person. People who have a Lunette cup are raving about it and people who don't are intrigued. The giveaway still has three days left and it already has 73 entries. On my blog. I get maybe 6,000 average pageviews a month?
