…reconsider

Posted on the 07 July 2016 by Zer @the2women

Television VolumeThe Fourth of July is behind us, and many of us find ourselves in the middle of a ridiculously hot summer aka—television wasteland.

Of course, in the age of Netflix, it’s not quite the rerun showhole that it once was, and we’ve given you more than a few options for new original series to check out (*cough* “BrainDead” *cough* “Maya & Marty” *cough*).

However, the perk of summer viewing nowadays, is it’s the perfect time to catch up on those “someday shows.” So, this What to Watch Wednesday, I though I’d spend a few minutes making a few recommendations. Take ’em or leave ’em, but I mean really, what else are you going to watch?

“The Mindy Project”

When Fox let Mindy go, it hurt, but guess what guys? It lives on…yes under another paid service in the land of Hulu, but it lives on, and is definitely worthy of a summer binge.

“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”

I’ve sung this shows praises more than a few times, but recently I’ve seen some really positive feedback from those who have watched the show on my recommendation, so here it is again. It’s the happiest show you’ll ever see about a woman who was kidnapped by a cult…and they sing!

“Penny Dreadful”

If you watch “Once Upon a Time” and wish it was darker and more gothic and much, much darker, then you’ll love this show. It’s all of your favorite gothic, nightmarish tales, rolled into one with Josh Hartnett and Eva Green. I’ve only watched the first season (so far), but am thrilled to see that the second season in now  on Netflix as well.
