Repentance

Posted on the 22 January 2013 by Chhavivatwani @chhavivatwani
No matter how many eons 'ave been
I loathed thou for thy heinous crime
I was only a child
Friends were my only resign
Thou hath it all misfigured
Kicked me out like a rag doll
OUT thy life, I flew desolate
'Till few days back we were best mates

Repentance

And now we walk
In a friend's marriage hall
Outside in lush garden, thou stand 'neath the willow tree
And hang with sorrow just like the canopy
With tear streamed face thou looketh upon me
'Help me!' Thou cry, but couldn't cry out
I looketh on the scene from afar and near
Thou lifted up one hand to bear
My heart poundeth with humanity
And my soul ran toward thee, hugging but in vanity
While words bubbled out o' me mouth
And told ye instead to get lost!
'I'm sorry' - thou cried over and over
My heart felt like warm wax
'I misfigured, and left you teary eyed,
I apologize, now I'm repenting for all that.'
...
Aye, repenting she was
I could see it now clear, now that I got near
She had entangled her limbs with the tree's bed
And her robe seemed to be part of the mud
Silently, I
Taketh one step towards she
And in that I may have
Forgiven and accepted her plea
