Return of the Infection (The C-Section Strikes Back (again))!

(Beware this post is a bit of a rant)
I woke up this morning feeling clammy and rough, my stomach felt bruised, hot and swollen and when I looked in the mirror at my c-section scar (a very purple wiggly line that goes from one end of my stomach to the other) I saw that instead of my usual vampire white skin, there was instead big angry stripes of red stretching up and down either side of half of the scar. If that was not awful enough, it was also damp and smelt bad, suggesting that it may have opened slightly again - because it just being infected on the inside is not bad enough). Not really a great start to the day!
Ergh, seriously It has been over 5 months since the section (by nearly a week!), and still I keep getting reinfected. What the heck! I have taken a shocking amount of antibiotics and frankly I cannot understand why it keeps coming back to haunt me like a bad sequel.
I am now on a two week course of 2 lot of antibiotics (Penicillin and Flucloxacillin) which I have to take 4 times a day. So with adding these 2 infection assassins to my BP pills and breast feeding vitamins I will basically start to morph into a human rattle...at least this will make me even more popular with  the twins.
I have to say though, my Doctor was very good and came out to see me pretty much straight away and after examining me then sent up the District Nurse to cover and clean the scar and then sent up a man from the pharmacy to deliver my meds. Not a bad service really.
I hope this course does the trick, if I could give this infection a good beating I would (like a Ninja!) Grrrr!
