Crusaders, we’re on the edge of a national holiday, one that has likely already begun for many of you.
This year the fourth of July falls right in the middle of the week, forcing proud Americans to pick a side.
Will you extend the holiday toward the first weekend or the second or throw caution to the wind and celebrate all week long?
That’s a decision only you can make and we being the good fellow-citizens that we are, will respect your decision even though it may be different than our own. That’s because we are a nation built on the idea that even though we may be different, with different backgrounds, and different 4th of July plans, we are all Americans.
Although, from the looks of things, many have chosen to celebrate all week, so before the week kicks off into a marathon of patriotic parties, just a reminder to be safe out there. Hydrate, protect yourself from the sun, and above all, be kind to one another.
