For someone who loves his biryanis n kebabs much more than anything. Someone who has serious issues with non Indian food and for someone who has prejudice and biases towards it. It usually takes a lot to go to a restaurant called Sun Moon and Potatoes! Well, my friend pulled it off quite convincingly. To say the least, I was surprised beyond limits. Food was new for me. It was tasty, wholesome, creamy and piping hot! Sans Indian spices my taste buds were feeling something new and surprise surprise they were liking it too!We ordered one starter and one dish for main course. Portions were good enough for two people. For starters we ordered Chicken crispy with Mustard. Photo below.Chicken slices were crispy & crunchy. However, the chicken pieces were little dry. Little juicer pieces would certainly have added more to the dish. Mustard sauce was good however that is no comparison with Bengali "kasoondi". Would have been a splendid combination had they tried "kasoondi" with it.Our main course arrived once we finished our starter. We ordered Poulet a la Kiev. A french chicken preparation. Photo below. It looked nice. For me though it was a little weird not seeing any rice or chapati in the plate. If I may say, the chicken roll (I don't know how else to put it) was filled with mashed rosemary and butter. To support it there was mashed potatoes and stir fried vegetables. A mixture of all these gave a good taste. However, have not eaten this dish before so I cant compare. But must say it was a good experience. Juicy chicken, creamy rosemary is coated with crisp outer later. However a little softer chicken would have  been better. A small restaurant with a big menu! Quite limited seating capacity with ac and non ac areas. Service is quite quick compared to any other restaurants.  Its a must try if you are looking for something different for your palate. Easy to your pocket this restaurant offers a wide variety. A meal for two would cost about Rs 500-700. Its located opposite Movie Time theater in Malad West, just off the link road.
