Riddle by a Sea Cow

Posted on the 15 February 2013 by Chhavivatwani @chhavivatwani

manatee, sea cow

Manatee, sea cow

'Tis on an open sea I wade
Corals, my sea-green jade
Those fellow finned do flow by me
Ne'er see my smile wrinkly
I'm
A forgotten
Lost
Creature from eons past
And yet, I do exist today
To show the world how they
Killed a History that was gold
Now beauty's obscured, sold.
Although mermaids are an imaginary creature known to exist in the past, there still exists an aquatic mammal that might well have been the source of this imagination! Very close to mermaids, we have the Manatee, or the sea cows! Well I don't mean close to the beauty and booty of the mermaids.
