Happy New Year!
With 2011 officially in the history books, it’s time to look ahead to 2012.
If you’re having trouble coming up with things to look forward to, we’ve compiled a few of the upcoming events of 2012:
Stephanie:
- Breaking Dawn – Part 2: If you thought Part 1 was fantastic, you might be a teenage girl, or want to get your head checked. Seriously, I tease because I care. The only question is can you make it until November 16? Let’s just hope Twi-Hards are able to find happiness after the end of this (unnecessarily) five-part series.
- Dooms Day: Thank goodness Breaking Dawn comes out nearly a month before the apocalypse-12/12/12. Or perhaps it’s no coincidence. That should be just enough time for the Twi-Hards to bring about the end of days with their mass grief and/or stage an epic battle between Team Edward and Team Jacob.
Zer:
- The 2012 Presidential Campaigns: True, the campaigning process hasn’t even started yet, and a lot of us are already on the verge of electing Mickey Mouse as our new president. But at least we may get a few amusing SNL sketches out of all the ridiculousness.
- The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey: Nerds and geeks across the land already have their countdown calendars going. At long last (it’s been a tough 9 years) Middle-Earth returns to the silver screen. It hits theaters December 14, 2012. Here’s hoping that Dooms Day 12/12/12 is postponed until the 15th.
