No matter what surface he is on, be it sofa, play mat, changing table or cot - if he is on his back, he trying to roll onto his front. Until today this has been enough to satisfy his thirst for adventure, alas this is no longer the case.
This afternoon River started to try and launch himself forward. Rocking himself backwards and forwards, bottom in the air with a face full of determination, he slowly inched himself a little way up the sofa much to the chagrin of his sister who he landed on head first. The poor boy even got a little smack on the head for his trouble (well she is the older twin by a WHOLE minute so she has to keep him in his place). I have a feeling him starting to crawl is not far off.
Hmmmm, is it wrong that I am a little scared of that?
