Rock Meets Hardplace…

Posted on the 11 January 2012 by Drowqueen @theburnedhand

When it comes to hard decisions, there is no easy way to make them.  You can lead with your heart, but that doesn’t always work.  You can research and be methodical, but again, there are things that leaves out as well.  The best way is to look at the whole picture and ultimately do what is best for your situation.  I was reading about Roy E. Disney recently.  He said “It’s not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.”  True enough.  He should know as he helped get rid of two top executives in the company that his uncle Walt founded.  Things weren’t going in the direction he thought they should go and the vision was being lost.  I like reading stories about people who have a vision and fight for it.

So, my post might be short tonight, but I think I have made my point.  You can listen to the counsel of your friends and family, but ultimately, you are the one that has to live with whatever choice you make in this world.

“It does not take much strength to do things, but it requires great strength to decide what to do.”  ~Elbert Hubbard
