As Time ponders who the person of 2013 will be they’re looking for a little help…sort of.
The 90-year-old magazine is looking to Twitter for some input on who you think the 2013 Person of the year should be…kinda.
They’re using the hashtag #TIMEPOY and asking the Twitterverse for their suggestions as they face this annual deliberation…but not really.
Will they be listening to the Tweets? Yes.
Will they be sharing the Tweets? I’m sure.
Will the Tweets in any way be affecting the final decision? No.
The editors at Time will be independently selecting the honoree, but hey it’ll be a great conversation. Right?
Better hurry up though, you only have until Dec. 4 to get your suggestions posted for non-consideration.
