As summer swiftly approaches, and spring continues to heat up, more and more of us are venturing into the great outdoors. So, as many of you head out to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend, it seems like a good time to remind you to wear your sunscreen.

Why the extra emphasis on “wear”?

Well, as some of you may already know, there’s a new sun-protection product on the market — drinkable sunscreen.

Osmosis Skincare’s UV Neutralizer Harmonized Water, claims to provide the equivalent of SPF 30 protection by vibrating the water molecules just below the surface of your skin. This inturn, cancels out emitting the burn-causing frequencies of UVA and UVB rays.

Before you say good bye to your rub-in and spray-on products, you should know what the skincare experts have to say about this “too good to be true” product.

While it sounds fancy (and possibly painful…vibrating molecules?), the fact is, there’s no proof that it works. The company responsible for the product even admits that it was only tested on roughly 50 people.

Oh, and those tests were conducted by the people who will be making a profit should you decide to buy their product.

So for now, you’ll just have to suck it up and continue to lather on the lotion.
