…See the Glass Half Full

…See the Glass Half Full Christmas is under attack, again. This year’s Grinch might come as a surprise.

Starbucks, usually a friend to the overly-commercialized holiday has lost the good favor of some holiday fanatics.

So, what was their crime? Did they discontinue the Egg Nog Latte, turn off the extremely loud holiday tunes, or kick a Chrismas tree? No to all three counts. What they did do was remove Christmas from their holiday cups.

Specifically, they removed the Christ from Christmas, at least according to some outraged Christians.

Because we all know the true meaning of Christmas isn’t about what’s under the Christmas tree, but what’s on your Starbucks cup.

If you’re scratching your head, you should know that this year’s Starbucks holiday cup design features a plain red background with the green Starbucks logo. In past years, the design has featured everything from snowflakes and poinsettias to snowmen and carolers.

If you’re still scratching your head, and wondering what any of those things have to do with the religious holiday of Christmas, then congratulations! You might actually understand what Christmas is actually about.
