…see What I See

Do youMerry Christmas Eve Eve! We’re fewer than 48 hours out from Christmas, and I am finished Christmas shopping!

While I’m no stranger to shopping procrastination, that’s not what this was. It’s closer to practical shopping decision making…just go with it. But really, that’s neither here nor there, because this Christmas Eve Eve is a What to Watch Wednesday: Christmas Edition.

As with all Christmas activities, we all have our own traditions around Christmas television. For some it involves turning on the “Christmas Story” marathon and letting it run in the background all day. In my case, it’s watching all of the Christmas specials that aired on Christmas, several days later. Christmas is not about television people.

This is the kind of situation that DVRs were created for. Spend time with your family.

Now, here’s a reminder of what you’ll be missing…

“Doctor Who”
Remain calm Whovians, I know it’s difficult when the long-awaited return of River Song is so close, but I believe in you. Just remember, the wait is relative in the grand scheme of space and time…

“Sherlock”
There seems to be a little bit of confusion/concern around why our modern day sleuth seems to have wandered into the era of his source material, but to be frank, I really don’t care…unless it’s an incredible, surprise “Doctor Who”/”Sherlock” time-travelling crossover episode. Fingers crossed…

“Downton Abbey”
American audience, the delayed airing of “Downton Abbey” finally falls in our favor. Sure, we’ll be enjoying the Christmas special in March, but we get to hold onto the final season just a little bit longer (spoiler alert)…

…bi-daily smile…
