September...
what an interesting month, full of promise, high hopes and dreams...back to school, new friendships and milestones.
With so many kids back to school, into a new routine, with a challenging year ahead, it's so important to remember friendships and bonds. New friendships and old ones too...So, this blog post is dedicated to the new school year ahead and the new beginnings that come along with that.
I always thought September was such a beautiful month, but so scary just the same. Heading back to school, not knowing what the new classes would bring, misery, hardship or maybe something bright and happy...who knew? Were there any bullies lurking in the corners, or yelling teachers who might just jump out and get you? Or...on the flip side, maybe I could win a spelling bee, get noticed by a boy or get to know a hard to reach teacher with a little childlike skill...
It's a whole new ball game for teachers, too...with such great expectations for the school year and having to exceed the challenges of last year and make the improvements and tweaks to the new instruction taking place. It might be a good idea to thank a teacher and find inspiring ways to work together with them if you have school age children or know someone who does...
I've included a few articles here with a teaching theme for anyone interested. Pass them along to your favorite teacher or "teacher to be." Maybe they can use the information. :)

How to Get Into Teaching
With all of this being said, Wherewouldyoufindme? has it's own milestone to celebrate...it's been ONE YEAR of blissful blogging! So, here's to making some new memories, learning something new, and enjoying the ride!
"The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk, and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Chrysanthemums.
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze.
