As 2014 swiftly approaches, a lot of us are starting to think about our new year resolutions. If you’re still holding out, a recent study might be able to help.
One of the most popular resolutions — get in shape — has some more cold hard facts(ish) and common sense, backing it up.
According to researchers (whoever that is), regular exercise helps to greatly reduce heart disease, stroke, Type 2 diabetes, depression, some types of cancer, cognitive decline and…do I really need to keep going?
Just in case that list and the other million studies haven’t convinced you, it also helps with sleep, memory, concentration and mood. So basically, it’s five resolutions in one…make that six…you can also improve your multitasking.
