Fellow runners, joggers, and plodders, spring has finally arrived! Or at least the spring running season has…whether you like it or not.
This morning the 2WC (and family) once again took part in the Shamrock Shuffle, Chicago’s official kick-off to running season. It was, as always, a blast, and a much needed official end of winter (hopefully).
Let’s just say, that you know it’s been a cold winter when 30,000 plus runners are talking about how nice the 30 degree weather is at 8:30 in the morning.
We are all ready for spring, even if that means living in complete denial of the reality of the weather we are facing. So, bring on the 40′s and lower 50′s!
We’ll call it spring for now and dream of summer (we should get to 60 by then).
Finally, congrats to all the runners, it was another successful Shuffle!
