Since Last Time

I am feeling very content today. Life has been on a pause for a while. I have been waiting to get on with my life during five difficult years doing my business degree. It all ended when I handed in my thesis last Wednesday. It was (and still is) kind of surreal to me. The next day I started working at the local bank, helping them out in the holidays.

Sigurd came back from NY two weeks ago and we are spending our time with both our families in each our town in the Valley. It's nice spending time with Sigurd's family, getting a taste of the traditional Norwegian Christmas. I am starting to think of a nice way to combine the Polish and Norwegian ways of celebrating Christmas especially with regards to cuisine.
But for now, the tree is decorated, the pirogues and borscht are done and I am pretty much in the mood for reading, sleeping and simply just lazing around for a couple of days.
