What’s #AnimojiKaraoke, you ask? Prepare to lose the next half hour (to an hour, depending on your level of commitment to pure joy.
With Friday’s release of the iPhone X, the most avid of Apple loyalists finally had access to the most animated of new features the $1K phone has to offer, the Animoji. These colorful, expressive, interactive emoji allow you to send audiovisual messages as a chicken, dog, cat, unicorn, etc.
Of course, the internet being the delightful place that it is (sometimes), it didn’t take people long to start playing with this goofy, but really, really cool new feature. Thus, #AnimojiKaraoki was born, and it couldn’t have come at a better time, if you ask me.
It’s not difficult to look around the world right now and feel like we’re lost. Animoji Karaoke is a reminder that there is still good, there is still creativity, and there are still reasons to smile…even if it is “just” singing pandas. Some are still squirming at the high price tag (understandably), but can you really put a price on the joy that is #AnimojiKaraoke? Can you?
So let’s get out there and prove that with music in our hearts and Animoji on our faces, there’s nothing we can’t conquer.
