Happy Shark Week!
It may be hard to believe, but at last, it’s here again.
It’s that one week a year that we all re-learn that valuable Pixar lesson:
Sharks are not mindless eating machines, with the obvious exception of those sharks that frequent tornadoes, public beaches, and the silver screen.
You know, for an animal that gets a solid week of pro-shark programming each year, sharks could really use some help in the image management department.
It seems that for all of the learning we do about these predators of the deep, we still like to type cast them as villains in our movies and television shows.
But let’s face it, they make really good villains. So, in honor of shark week, we present our top shark movie moments in all of the scientifically unsupported glory:
First, let’s remind ourselves that sharks really just want to be friends with the fish, really close friends:
Technically, there aren’t sharks in this scene, but let’s all agree that it still counts:
