Snorkelling at the Twin Peaks Reef

A trip to Coron is not complete without taking an island hopping tour. We knew that a promising experience awaits us on our second day so we woke up early, had a quick buffet breakfast at the Coconut Grove Restaurant, wore our suits, packed our swimming gears, slathered enough sunblock and got ready to start the tour.

We made our first stop at the Twin Peaks Reef. Two limestone rock formations marked the spot and looked like two towering peaks - thus, the name Twin Peaks. The tour guides required us to wear life jackets before allowing us to get off the boat. The tour participants were able to swim a little, snorkel and enjoy the underwater paradise. Here are a few underwater shots taken by my aunt.
