Since learning of my pregnancy in February, my husband and I have been thinking of better ways to improve our finances. Between the rising prices and two children in school (plus one more come June 2013), it would be a challenge trying to budget our combined monthly income. For my yeobo to actually consider overseas employment, I’d say we are anticipating tough times ahead.
On my end, I had been trying to increase my meager online earnings. I joined a bunch of PTC sites back in November and while my cashouts had not been very outstanding, I’d like to think I’m getting there.
Fortunately, the entire family has been very cooperative when we imposed a lifestyle change to spend less and save more. Nothing abrupt though but it’s enough that we practice a little more frugality than we used to. We were able to convinced the kids to reduce their monthly servings of their favorite chicken meal from 2 to 1 and pizza from once a week to twice a month.
I know this is not much but we have to start somewhere.
