Happy unofficial first day of autumn!
What makes this the unofficial first day of autumn… since technically we still have three (or so) weeks to go.
Today we welcome back the Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Before you cry foul, or product placement (Starbucks, I welcome free lattes), this is the iconic drinks’ tenth anniversary. To add some more weight to that statement, that’s more than 200 million lattes.
And I’m not the only one who rings in the fall season (albeit, a little early) with this seasonal beverage. Pumpkin Spice Latte fans are serious about their favorite beverage.
Last year, total anarchy was barely avoided during the great Pumpkin Spice Shortage of 2012 (click here for more: ABC News).
Now, I can hear all of your anti-big business protests, and more often than not, I’m on your side. But nothing beats a pumpkin spice latte on a sunny (almost) fall afternoon.
…Starbucks, I’m serious about the free lattes…
