Believe it or not today is the first day of spring. And I would imagine the majority of you are on the “or not” end of that phrase, as many of us are experiencing well below average temperatures at present.
Does anyone else feel like the groundhog lied to us? If this is an early spring, then summer may not arrive until October.
I suppose that’s what you get when you give meteorological responsibilities to a large rodent.
Has anyone vetted this creature? Where are his credentials? I have several days of snow in the near forecast that strongly contradict his claims.
Nevertheless, the calendar says it’s spring, so some sort of celebration must be in order. Might I suggest cranking the heat up a few notches and plotting our vengeance on the furry fibber come spring, when and if it actually arrives.
