This What to Watch Wednesday, I thought we’d put the television screen aside for a moment and direct our attention to another cultural phenomenon—Museum Selfie Day (#MuseumSelfie).
Yes, that’s a thing and I’m not saying that I was doing it before it had its own day, but bam:
What do you do on a rainy Saturday in #NYC? Take selfies in historically significant mirrors at @metmuseum, of course.

I do not consider myself a vain person, but even I can’t resist the urge to capture my own visage when it’s peeking back through a mirror of historical significance. Museum’s were made for selfies, even for those of us who cringe at the thought just about anywhere else.
Just a few words of advice:
Double check your surroundings saying “Cheese!” (coincidentally it’s also National Cheese Lovers Day…) The “It’s Museum Selfie Day” excuse won’t get you far when you back into a priceless painting/vase/statue.
When in doubt, get someone else to take the pic.
Hanging with the Lincoln family and #history.

Now go forth, and selfie with care…and maybe learn a thing or two…
…bi-daily smile…
