It’s a sad day for Cardinal fans and for all fans of baseball. Yesterday we lost one of the greats: Stan “The Man” Musial.
The outpouring from players and fans has been evident on Twitter and Facebook (especially by those of us whose news feeds are mostly populated by Cardinals fans) but we all know that the loss will be felt most keenly on opening day, when one fewer red car makes its way around the diamond in the traditional parade of the living greats of Cardinal’s baseball history.
But for now, 2WC and family would like to express our sympathies to the Musial family and Cardinal’s organization and our thanks to “The Man” himself.
