Today marks the third day of the government shutdown (aka- our legislative branch’s epic temper tantrum). It also happens to also be the first day of postseason baseball.
It’s a tough decision for a blogger. Not for this particular blogger, but I imagine for others it could be difficult.
Personally, I’ve had enough of the theatrics and stubborn pigheadedness of Washington politics.
The cut-throat rivalries of postseason baseball are a pleasant break. At least in baseball they occasionally work together, and at the end of the day appear to respect their opponents. Washington could learn a lot from the politics of baseball.
Okay, so maybe I still needed to get a bit of the political outrage off my chest. But from now on it’s all about baseball.
Let’s Go Cards!!!
