Today’s blog would usually be dedicated to reviewing the highs and lows of last night’s Golden Globes. This year, that’s a little difficult, seeing as I have not yet seen the show.
Of course, the alternative is to pick another headline, and provide some opinion and whitty commentary on that; however, right next to that headline is another announcing the surprise winner of that one category…you see my dilemna.
While I may not have seen the show, I can hypothesize about its outcome. For example, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were once again phenomenal hosts. Jennifer Lawrence probably did something sweet and adorable that made America love her even more.
Also, at some point a Hollywood or music icon probably went just a little bit too political with their speech. People in the room clapped, and people at home felt really uncomfortable.
Oh, and at least one person claimed to have not written an acceptance speech.
Other than that it’s a complete mystery, and will remain so until this evening. And for those who are tempted to spoil the fun, this blogger will be disconnecting for the next few hours. However, I look forward to reading your comments later.
