Hey there! Welcome to Sunday. You made it. In a few hours, Monday will start to creep in, or maybe it already has. For the next few paragraphs I will try my best to help you hold it at bay.
We've reached what I consider to be peak Sunday season. There's football, cooler weather, and (if you're lucky) a little rain to make it easier to give yourself a bit of a break.
I know, actually taking a moment to rest is easier said than done. Sitting still, even for a second can feel like a moment lost. It usually isn't.
We all view our lives under a microscope from time to time. Some of us more than others. Sometimes we need a reminder to zoom out and take a look at the big picture.
You worked hard to get here and you will work hard again. Take a moment to enjoy it. Read a book or watch the game or do something to help you recharge. Monday will be here soon enough. Enjoy Sunday while you can.
Full disclosure, I'm multitasking while writing this, and traveling back home after another fun, busy weekend...and I plan to do more work when I get back. My point is, don't beat yourself up if you accidentally do some work today. It's a work in progress for all of us.
