In an increasingly mobile world it’s hard to imagine a time before the smartphone. We’ve grown so accustomed to the convenience of these devices, we may sometimes forget they can’t actually do everything.
For instance, your smartphone cannot predict the future…unless you’re predicting traffic. Yes, there is an app for that. It’s a mobile app that keeps you mobile.
Well, it’s several apps that in various forms keep you informed of impending traffic. Some of them actually use traffic patterns from the past to help you see the future and avoid spending too much quality time in your car.
Now that’s all well and good, but I feel like there’s one major factor being over-looked for the sake of convenience. If there is one problem that smartphone drivers do not have it is having too few distractions while behind the wheel.
Now if only someone could work on an app that reminds drivers to check the traffic reports before they get in the car and turn their phone off while their driving.
