Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Welcome, to Day Two of 2WC’s Muppet Week. It was not difficult to choose which Muppet to highlight on St. Patrick’s Day. It might not be easy bein’ green, but Kermit sure does make it look good.
Of course, Kermie’s green-ness is where that poetic tie-in ends. There’s not much else about Kermit, a strong-silent-type leader, that seems to mesh with this wild, raucous of a feast day (yes, that’s right folks, St. Patrick’s Day is a holy day, believe it or not).
For all of you party-hardy’s out there, Monday may not be the ideal day for this holiday, but I’m sure you all made the most of your weekends.
For those of us with actual family ties to Ireland, we thank you for your enthusiasm and ask you to tone it down a bit. It is Monday after all.
