Yes, baseball season is here again. Fans across the country and around the globe get to have a fresh start. For today and the next few months, anyone could be a winner. The season is just getting started, and that means there are no slumps or horrible batting averages. For now, these are all just rotten luck and a momentary lapses in judgment.
For this moment, we all get to have hope that our teams will turn around from a slow start, or rebound from their group effort to crush our souls. Right now, they can do no wrong, or at least we can write it off as a fluke.
True, in a few months you may be cursing your beloved “fill in team name here“, but for now it’s opening day and who knows, this could be “fill in team name here” year.
