I am certain this same exact thing happened this time last Spring as well. Still, somehow the Spring's flora accompanied by blue sky is a welcome surprise. Though I can't think of a fellow Long Island native who complained about our last Winter, there were strings of dreary days that even the most ardent admirer of the color gray would tire of.
