I was not planning on writing this tonight, but someone made a request. Several people are going through different trials and tribulations right now and they will come out on top. In order to believe that, you canNOT look back. It is over. You couldn’t change it even if you wanted to, so put that in writing. What we could have or should have done is over. Do you keep on hatin’ the person who caused you harm? Nope. Why? What is it going to change? Not a thing. The ball of hate gets bigger and they win. You had a creative idea, went out on a limb, and it failed. So what? If you hadn’t tried, you would have always wondered. Maybe you are starting a new life. Good. You know the quote by Alexander Graham Bell then…you do actually. “When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed-door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.”
So I ask my friends to move forward tonight in their journeys. All of them. I watched something once that was a powerful affirmation of a way to move forward, but it will come as a strange surprise. This is a bit longer than what I normally put in here, but it makes a great statement that brought me to tears: Stroke of Insight
She makes a statement about rebirth that I can’t possibly begin to understand. It is powerful.
