This Year's Highlights - New York, New York

This year. I don't even know where to start. I set my heart on making my New Year's resolution come true: doing the things I never dared, but that I had always dreamt of.  And what wouldn't be a better place to do that than New York?  I went to New York in January. (I finally met this inspiring girl in real life!) And when I set my heart on graphic design I returned for a full time course in April. I felt crazy for spending so much of my savings and time (that I should have spent on finishing my thesis) on something that I didn't know whether I might love, but it was probably the best thing I have ever done, and I did it entirely on my own.
I spent what was left over of my time strolling the streets of Brooklyn, and I fell absolutely in love with Carroll Gardens. Sigurd moved to New York with work, and we spend summer evenings on our shared passion - trying out new restaurants. I was blessed to make friends for life, one of them - Sarah! I went to North Carolina to visit her and I even made a little video about it here.
