We’re two days into 2013, and officially out of excuses for avoiding our New Year’s resolutions.
If you’re having trouble finding the motivation to follow through on your resolutions, a recent scientific study may help.
Research shows that you can literally throw away negative thoughts. Meaning, that if you write, oh say, “going to the gym is not worth the effort,” on a sheet of paper and then throw it away, it can mentally help you overcome your negative thoughts.
Sadly, the study did not show if a recycling bin is just as effective as a trash can. You’ll have to figure that one out on your own.
And if that “motivation” doesn’t work…you really need to suck it up, it’s only day two.
